We all want to enjoy our summer days for as long as possible, so we need to figure out how to make the days outside manageable with the intense heat that we have been getting.
Clearly, with global warming and climate change, we need to be steps ahead to keep ourselves comfortable when the season is just too hot.
In the meantime, check this out about how to install patio misters.
Please watch the video above as it shows you how to do it yourself.
There are many more to be seen!
Thanks again for stopping,

Are patio misters really worth it?
I am confident that you would love patio Misters in your backyard! There is nothing like feeling the cool mist over your skin when it is so hot outside. I encourage you to find an outdoor patio at a restaurant and give them a try. You will get a real sense if they work or not! Thanks for commenting. Have a great day!

Hi Marla,
I am glad you introduced me to patio Misters, I had not been aware of them. But, I do have a patio that gets hot during the day and I may just try a patio mister. After reading your comment to go to a restaurant patio and check them out for myself, I think that is a great idea.
When you give some useful advice like that I think you are communicating with your audience on a basic and very helpful level. It is appreciated! And to include DIY instructions is perfect because I love DIY projects! Very insightful and helpful!
I am looking forward to the interesting items you write about in the near future! I love this site!
Chas,
Thank you for your interest in patio misters. The first time I ever experienced them, I was in Phoenix at a restaurant (while visiting there to find a house to buy) in 108 degrees weather. I had no idea that the misters would provide such a great first-time experience for me and my husband. We fell in love with them and knew that we could eventually move to Phoenix and the heat, knowing that there is a solution to dining and hanging out outside in the high temperatures. I think you would be pleasantly surprised to find that they don’t make you wet; they just cool the skin off enough to make it feel temperate. I love them! Let me know when you try them out. I want to hear what your impression is. Thanks for stopping by.
I Love The Concept.
Koolness on a Hot Day.
Thanx for Posting.
Hello,
Thanks for your comments. I can’t imagine life without them anymore! I must have a bit of mist to cool myself on hot days.
Take care and have a fantastic day!

Hi Marla, living in an area where it gets up to 42*C during summer and only have an average temperature of 24*C during winter, a patio mister is almost as needed as a swimming pool.
The restaurant that has the misters are very popular day and night.
Thank you for your post, it convinced me to get one for our patio at home too.
Will think of you when I sit in the cool mist!
Estelle
Hello Estelle,
I just did the math and 42 degrees celsius is equivalent to about 108 degrees Fahrenheit. We definitely live in similar climates! Our high temperature in the summer got up to 118 degrees a few times. Needless to say, it is imperative to have misters if you are planning to spend time outdoors on the patio.
I am so glad you found my post helpful.
Thanks!
Marla
Hi Marla, living in an area where the summer temperature goes up to 42*C during summer and in the winter months it does not go beyond 24*C, Misters are very popular.
I never knew there were so many different models to choose from.
After reading your post I am convinced it will be an excellent idea to investigate and learn more about one for the patio.
Thank you
I agree! There are many different kinds, portable, fixed, misting fans, misting lines, and the list goes on. Thanks for your comments and I sure hope you are able to install a misting system soon!
Take care and enjoy the heat!
